Mike Ye is the founder of exmxc, the intelligence institution for the AI-search era. He is a strategist and institutional operator with more than 25 years of experience across strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions, corporate development, and portfolio leadership.
At exmxc, Mike focuses on how artificial intelligence reshapes visibility, authority, and structural power across modern institutions. His work centers on entity clarity, AI-search legibility, and long-horizon foresight — translating institutional experience into frameworks that AI systems can correctly interpret and trust.
Prior to founding exmxc, Mike served as Vice President of Strategic Planning & Acquisitions at Penske Media Corporation, where he led large-scale acquisitions, portfolio strategy, and long-horizon capital decisions across global media, experiential, and digital assets.
His work at Penske Media included sourcing, executing, and integrating high-impact acquisitions and investments, as well as managing divestitures to optimize portfolio alignment. He partnered closely with executive leadership and operating teams to integrate financial, operational, and cultural dimensions across complex organizations.
Across media, retail, healthcare, technology, and asset management, Mike’s career has consistently focused on capital allocation, institutional structure, and long-term value creation. His experience spans corporate development, financial operations, portfolio management, and venture exits — providing a systems-level view of how institutions scale, adapt, and endure.
